Sining Saysay reaches HEULMC

Beloved President Rosario O. Lapus shared to the Library Media Center a copy of the coffee table art book SINING SAYSAY: PHILIPPINE HISTORY IN ART with foreword by Alfredo E. Pascual pubished in 2017.

An accompanying publication of a project by the University of the Philippines that tells the story of the Filipino nation through 29 large-scale paintings by 27 UP alumni artists. It captures the various significant eras in Philippine history, beginning with the prehistoric Philippines until the successive postwar administrations of the Republic. Interspersed with the sequential paintings are thematic works meant to disrupt the linearity of narrative history (artbooks.ph)
