BIG NEWS! Turn-over of BSP-KRN to LMC

Here's a teaser! Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas is partnering with Miriam College through its Knowledge Resource Network. The signing of memorandum of understanding (MOU) will take place on the 27th day of February @ 2pm, HEU LMC library lobby.

The BSP Network program assists the reading publics by promoting the understanding of the essential economic and financial concepts and issues affecting the country’s economy, through the exchange of information resources between and among its network members.

Miriam College with HEU-LMC as one of the many library premises of the BSP Knowledge Resource Network member member will be provided with:

1. available BSP print materials such as books, annual reports, inflation reports, statistical publications, brochures, pamphlets, posters and other information/learning materials, as well as online materials through the BSP website;

2. link with the BSP website in order to access BSP’s online publications and other information resources;

3. assistance in relation to research and reference inquiries regarding economic and financial information, particularly in the areas of economics, banking, finance and investments, subject to existing applicable laws, regulations and internal policies of BSP;

4. briefings of designated librarians on the nature of information resources and services available at EFLC Main Office, including the BSP website.

Also, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas conducts periodic review and evaluation of the effectiveness of the program.
