Circulation librarian Ms. Janice L. Marquez attended “Grammar, Gender and Technical Writing” seminar-workshop last Thursday, November 15, 2018 that was held at the ESI Conference Room.
She said that:
it has a very big impact to her as an employee of Miriam College;
she should be fully aware of community advocacy of Miriam College;
she had her share of enlightenment on specific gender issues, and one should be very sensitive about it;
it was one real big help with handouts provided for self-study, too!
the grammar content including exercises were refreshing to each attendee.
Ms. Marquez highly recommends the seminar not solely for the intrinsic benefits one can get but also having the chance to enjoy sessions with great facilitator-speakers.
